that's right kids, i got 11 stitches today because i failed to wear sunscreen as a kid...
this afternoon i had a small circle of skin cancer (the friendlier name is "sun spot") cut out of my face.
apparently i'll look even worse tomorrow so i'll be sure to keep you posted :)

  • Been there! Done that! Great advice. My skin has has seen about as much sun as it can handle. I've had a few of them removed from my face and scalp.

  • Wow, powerful photo for a powerful statement... I'm on the sun screen thing since I've been running my own life, but as my Dad keeps reminding me, they weren't all that consious about the process when I was a kid. So... the uncertain future awaits! Wish you good healing.

  • I am glad you caught it early Greg. It looks pretty bad with the stitches, but probably will look OK once they are out/healed. Remember, it is stuff like that that gives us "character".
    Jarrett @ 07:58pm March 18, 2007
  • Ouch, hope you wear sunscreen now!
